VAS H02

VAS Unique Design Feature:

After engaging ordisengaging shifters, constant pneumatic air pressure is not required in VASGearboxes as a separate ball spring assembly is installed in the shifterassembly to LOCK the shifter shafts after shifting. Pneumatic air pressure isonly required to shift (engage or disengage) the shifter shafts, aftershifting, pneumatic air pressure can be removed.

Both Driveline throughput (vehicle in motion) andPTO Aux. Applications cannot be engaged (operated) at the same time. Either thevehicle shall run on the road (Driveline) orin a stationary position the PTO Auxiliary Outputs can be engaged. This VASUnique feature eliminates the possibility of an auxiliary application accidentwhile vehicle is in motion. If Both Driveline and PTO Aux. applications arerequired (to be operated) simultaneously, kindly refer to our CR4, CR7 & CR8series gearboxes which have both driveline & PTO Aux. simultaneous optionswith Reduction Driveline feature.

Dependable Performance for Industrial Applications

With a sturdy cast iron housing and precision-cut alloy steel gears, the VAS H02 is built for heavy-duty industrial environments. Its helical gear design achieves smooth, low-noise operation, while the advanced oil splash lubrication system prolongs its service life and maintains efficiency. The corrosion-resistant surface treatment ensures longevity even under challenging conditions.

High Efficiency and Versatility

Boasting a 97% efficiency rate, the VAS H02 maximizes energy use and minimizes operational losses. Its parallel gearing supports both forward and reverse movement, making it suitable for a range of industrial machinery. The foot mounting and compact 28 kg weight further simplify installation and integration into existing setups.

FAQs of VAS H02:

Q: How is the VAS H02 gear unit typically installed in industrial applications?

A: The VAS H02 is designed for easy foot mounting, which allows it to be securely attached to a base or platform in industrial machinery setups. This method provides stability and helps align the gear unit properly for optimal performance.

Q: What type of lubrication system does the VAS H02 use, and what are its advantages?

A: This model utilizes an oil splash lubrication system, which continuously bathes gears and bearings in oil. This process ensures effective cooling, reduces wear, and contributes to the gearboxs low-noise operation and extended service life.

Q: When should I consider using the VAS H02 gear unit in my machinery?

A: The VAS H02 is recommended for use when reliable power transmission, high efficiency, and low noise are required, such as in conveyor systems, mixers, or other heavy-duty industrial machinery. It is particularly suitable when precise, bi-directional torque control is necessary.

Q: Where is the VAS H02 manufactured and supplied from?

A: The VAS H02 is manufactured, exported, and supplied from India by authorized industry experts with experience in producing precision gear units for the global market.

Q: What processing method is used for the gear teeth, and why is it beneficial?

A: The gear teeth are produced using hobbing, a meticulous machining process that creates highly accurate and uniform helical gear profiles. This ensures smooth meshing, reduced vibration, and extends the operational lifespan of the gearbox.

Q: How does the VAS H02s surface treatment contribute to its durability?

A: The unit undergoes advanced corrosion-resistant surface treatment, which shields it from oxidation and environmental wear, thus enhancing its resilience when exposed to harsh industrial conditions.

Q: What are the key benefits of using a parallel, helical gear arrangement in the VAS H02?

A: The parallel, helical gear configuration delivers quieter operation, higher load capacity, and smoother power transmission compared to spur gears. This makes the VAS H02 ideal for demanding applications where reliability, efficiency, and reduced noise are essential.
